StrataShield CladFlex is a highly effective, cost-effective treatment for cut-edge corrosion. It enables all existing joints and overlaps to be fully protected and sealed without disturbing any sheets or fixings, and provides long-term protection against the effects of weathering for up to 15 years.
The StrataShield CladFlex system incorporates a range of flexible, high performance primers which help prepare the roof surface and ensure an reliable bond. Following this, a flexible butylene tape is used to add extra strength across the edge or joint area. A two-layer polyurethane coating is then applied to provide exceptional protection against UV, weather and fluctuations in temperature. Finally, the main roof can be coated with a UV resistant sealer coat, and this can be colour matched to your desired RAL number if required.
